Alta Resources is proud to announce that Krystin Retzlaff, Sales Program Director, has been recognized among Gallup’s Top 10 Managers Worldwide as a finalist for the 2026 Gallup Manager of the Year award.
Each year, Gallup recognizes just 10 managers globally whose leadership has made an extraordinary impact on employee engagement, performance, and workplace culture. Finalists are selected based on exceptional engagement results and demonstrated leadership in coaching, employee development, performance, and organizational impact.
For more than 17 years, Krystin has led one of Alta’s most stable and highly engaged programs. Under her leadership, the team has achieved a 98% retention rate, maintained an average employee tenure of seven years, and increased employee engagement from 3.60 in 2019 to 4.56 in 2025 while successfully navigating rapid growth, organizational change, and industry disruption.
Those engagement outcomes have translated directly into business results. Since 2020, the program has more than doubled sales performance while consistently meeting inbound service, productivity, and quality goals. The client’s confidence in the team has also led to the addition of four new service lines over the past four years.
For Alta’s clients, those results mean more than strong engagement scores. They mean experienced teams, greater continuity, and consistent performance. By investing in employee engagement, Alta helps reduce turnover, retain institutional knowledge, and develop problem-solvers who deliver higher-quality customer experiences and stronger business outcomes.
Krystin’s leadership philosophy centers on coaching, transparency, and helping employees recognize and develop their strengths. Her program has become known for promoting leaders from within, fostering strong peer mentorship, and creating an environment where employees feel connected, supported, and empowered to grow.
This recognition comes on the heels of Alta Resources receiving Gallup’s Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) earlier this year. While the GEWA recognizes organizations that create exceptional workplace cultures, the Gallup Manager of the Year program celebrates individual leaders whose everyday actions bring those cultures to life.
“At Alta, we believe exceptional customer experiences begin with exceptional employee experiences,” said John Beré, Vice President of Growth & Strategy. “Krystin’s recognition reflects the intentional leadership, coaching, and commitment to people that define our culture. We’re incredibly proud to see her recognized on a global stage.”
Together, these recognitions reinforce Alta’s long-standing commitment to building engaged teams that deliver lasting value for employees, clients, and the customers they serve.
