We’re proud to announce that Alta Resources has been awarded the Bronze Medal by EcoVadis, a globally recognized authority in business sustainability ratings. This prestigious honor places Alta within the top 35 percent of companies assessed worldwide, highlighting our strong commitment to responsible, ethical, and sustainable business practices.
The EcoVadis Bronze rating is more than just a badge. It serves as a measurable validation of our dedication to integrating sustainability into every aspect of how we operate. EcoVadis assessed our performance across four key themes:
These results contributed to an overall score of 62 out of 100, placing Alta in the 71st percentile of companies evaluated within our industry.
“This award signifies Alta’s commitment to sustainability, particularly in areas like the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and procurement,” shared Jabu Dube, Compliance Director at Alta Resources. “It represents a strong starting point on our journey to continuously improve our sustainability management practices.”
EcoVadis is trusted by over 700 multinational companies, making it one of the world’s most widely recognized platforms for sustainability ratings. It plays a critical role in global supply chains by helping organizations assess the environmental and social impact of their partners, suppliers, and vendors.
The EcoVadis platform is used across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, and technology. Companies such as Toyota, Schneider Electric, BASF, AXA, and Ferrero are among those that use EcoVadis to monitor the sustainability performance of their global trading networks.
The EcoVadis methodology is based on internationally recognized standards including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000. Each company’s assessment is reviewed by a panel of independent experts and tailored to their industry, size, and location. This approach ensures a fair and credible evaluation of sustainability practices.
While we celebrate this Bronze recognition, we also view it as a foundation to build upon. Our teams are already working to identify areas for improvement and to deepen our efforts across all four performance pillars. As expectations around corporate responsibility continue to grow, Alta is committed to advancing our sustainability journey with transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.
At Alta, sustainability is not a destination. It is a long-term commitment to doing what is right—for our people, our clients, and our planet.
